According to Marca, Simeone used the following starting eleven in today's training session: Oblak; Vrsaljko, Savic, Godin, Filipe; Koke, Saúl, Gaitán, Carrasco; Correa and Griezmann. Torres hasn't resumed normal training yet and Gameiro had to abort the session.

Mundo Deportivo says that a win at Granada on Saturday would be Atlético's 1900th ever victory in all competitions.

Mundo Deportivo points to Atlético's good record against Granada. Atlético's last league defeat against Granada is from 1973. The latest draw is from 2014-15, when Granada were fighting against relegation on the last match day of the season.

AS reminds that Koke is on "yellow alert". A booking at Granada means that he will miss next weekend's all–important match against Sevilla.

Overall not a bad match by our guys...we created a lot of chances but scored only at the end; Carrasco could have scored again a hattrick.

Juanfran back into action is a good news.

Thomas was doing good, did a couple of mistakes and sometimes was too close to our defense, but i wanted to see him again in the 2nd half.

Nice to see our starting team with 3 canteranos in the midfield.

and now Champions League!!

+4 on Real Sociedad and -5 to Siviglia (Next La Liga match).
We and Siviglia have both CL matches on Tuesday/Wednesday.
We can finish next week with -2 to Siviglia and CL quarter finals.
Aupa Atleti!

And Barcelona lost. It probably won't have any bearing on us, but it's nice anyway. Let's hope Betis can give some problems to Real.
